Creating this piece was a true journey in itself—moving from moments of frustration to pure joy. Both physically and spiritually, it carries a strong impact. With its ocean theme, crashing waves, golden handles, and compass, it stands as a statement piece that reflects the navigation of life.
The waves symbolize the challenges we face and the choices we must balance to keep our own boats afloat. This work is also a tribute to my Portuguese heritage, honoring the pioneering spirit and maritime excellence of my ancestors. Navigating the Journey invites us all to embrace life’s challenges with resilience, courage, and joy.
