This painting is inspired by the tradition of the Portuguese tiles combined with the inspiration of the beautiful and colorful flowers you can find in California.

I've created the design of the tiles that it's fascinating by itself but I wanted to incorporate a natural beauty from where I live now, in California, so the delightful variety of vibrant flowers was the perfect contrast with a splash of colors in organic curvilinear shapes🌺
Marring these two inspirations from where I came and from where I am now, brings me to my present with a boost of color, beauty, and joy!
